The Ugadi Awards given by the Andhra Pradesh Government to eminent personalities has been announced. The Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu Award will be given to the Genesis Book of World Records holder, Tollywood’s first lady director famous actress Vijaya Nirmala, wife of Tollywood stalwart Akkineni Nageshwar Rao.

She will be given the award, during the presentation of Nandi Awards. Apart from her another famous Tollywood actress and producer Jamuna will be conferred the NTR National Award while the B N Reddy Award will go to director K B Tilak. These awards will be given on 16th March 2010 on Ugadi Day at Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Hyderabad.
