Michael Jackson Tribute Concert at O2 Arena
A concert to pay tribute to the 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson will be held on August 29, 2009 his birthday at the O2 Arena in London. It is the same place where the 'King of Pop' was to make his comeback with his as many as 50 concert. The gig organized by AEG Live was called the ‘This Is It’, a final farewell by Michael Jackson. The concerts would have been the first by Michael Jackson in nearly 10 years.
The gigs were also expected to help Michael Jackson get rid of his enormous debt. It may be known that Michael Jackson had lost lot of money due to years of litigation, child molestation cases. Though his personal assets are valued at over US$ 600 million.
The audiences who expected to see Michael Jackson perform at the stage will be part of his tribute on August 29, 2009 his 51st birthday. According to reports a life size hologram of the 'King of Pop' will be erected on stage and the performers will include the back up dancers who had been rehearsing with Michael Jackson before his death on June 25th.
It is also believed the pop star's 3 children namely Prince Michael Jackson, 12, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11 and Prince Michael II, 7 will be on stage for the grand finale with all Michael Jackson's brothers and sisters, as they did at his Los Angeles memorial on Tuesday.
