Plot:

Sivaram (Rajashekar) is a drunkard lawyer who hates his family for forcing his former lover to commit suicide and all his money on drinking alcohol. At a bar a girl Parvati (Bhumika) asks Sivarams help to rescue her from kidnappers. How Sivaram unravels the sinister plot behind her kidnapping and helps her to get her money is the story all about.

Overall synopsis:

Naa Style Veru is a story with twists. The story centers around a drunkard lawyer Sivaram (rajasekhar).  Sivaram is rom a good family of an advocate father (chalapathi rao) and an ACP brother (banerjee) and a caring mother (Annapurna), but he hates his family for forcing his former lover Divya (keerath) to commit suicide and all his money on drinking alcohol. Once at a bar a girl Parvati (Bhumika) asks Sivarams help to rescue her from kidnappers. He saves her and brings her home, where he gets to know that Parvati is in danger from her own family members, who want to kill her for her wealth. Meanwhile her father who went to USA for surgery on coming back to India sees Sivaram who pretends to be Parvati’s hubby.

Performances:

Rajashekar looks so dazed as a drunkard in the film, but always appears with a neat makeup, and never loses his stiff gait, which is a mismatch with the character he plays. Bhumika’s performance who looked really seductive in sarees is perhaps the only saving grace of the film. Though there are lots of actors in the film but none are worth mentioning. Brahmanandam failed to impress but his and Ramya’s bhoot episodes did manage to evoke some laughter in the listless film.
Ali is okay, but Venu Madhav was stale, Ahuti Prasad was ineffective, and Devaraj did not have anything to do in the film. Vijaykumar however did justice to his role, while Jeeva was average Keerath impressed with her beautiful looks in the very brief role in the film. Chalapathi Rao, Banerjee, Annapurna and others were standard.

Technical Values:

While the background score give feel of disconnect, Anup Ruebens as usual has given dull music for the songs. Cinematography is almost like a learner’s job, and showed its presence during songs. Costumes and art is good, but editing could have been better particularly during the second half. Kona Venkat’s dialogues are regular and average. The art and costumes department made their presence felt with good job though.

Conclusion:

'The film is a remake of Mohan Lal starrer Malayalam movie, Hallo, Cellular (Hollywood) and Hanuman Junction. A family entertainer with twists should have good screenplay and narration, but both were missing. The first half is regular with boring elements of action, songs and some stale comedy. The second half dragged too much and the climax simply tests the patience of viewers. The film has no appeal, all in all a very boring movie. One One wonders what director Ram Prasad was actually doing.with weak script and screenplay.
