Most Awaited Bollywood Films in 2010
Several news movies are up for release in Bollywood in 2010. While some of them are big ticket releases such as ‘Kites’, ‘Veer’, ‘My Name is Khan’, ‘Guzaarish’, ‘Raavan’, ‘Stepmom Remake’, ‘Teen Patti’, ‘Pyaar Impossible’, ‘Rann’, and ‘Raajneeti’; there are several medium and low budget movies like ‘Fired’, ‘Patiala House’, ‘Road, Movie’, ‘Hook Ya Crook’, ‘Aisha’, and many more that have either new faces or have established actors experimenting with new roles.
While some of the films are being made by debutants, other films are being made by established producer and directors. While some of the films are being produced by the actors themselves, most of the other film producers, owing to the rise in funding from corporate are making big budget movies. Most of the films have already courted controversy. Vishal Bharadwaj’s film ‘Ishqiya’ starring Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, and Vidya Balan like his other movies got into tangle with the Censor Board, due to excessive use of abusive language; promoting the Censor Board to give ‘A’ certificate to the promos, forcing the director to reshoot some scenes.
