New Trailor of ‘De Dana Dan’ Released. Film Releasing on November 27, 2009

‘De Dana Dan’ is a comedy film directed by National Award winning director Priyadarshan. ‘De Dana Dan’ stars the hit pair of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif as well as Sunil Shetty, Neha Dhupia, Paresh Rawal and Sameera Reddy. A major part of the filming of ‘De Dana Dan’ that began on December 1, 2008 film has been done in Singapore. The film is scheduled for release on November 27, 2009.

The film is about a personal butler, cook, driver, watchman, gardener Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) who works for a wealthy female industrialist Archana (Archana Puran Singh) in Singapore. Nitin Bankar who dreams of a better life, desperately wants to become rich and marry the love of his life, Anjali Kakkad (Katrina Kaif), who supports him financially. His friend Ram Mishra (Sunil Shetty), who also came to Singapore to make it big is struggling as a courier delivery man. Ram Mishra loves Manpreet Oberoi (Sameera Reddy), but her high society parents want Ram Mishra to have lots and lots of money.

Meanwhile Harbans Chadda (Paresh Rawal) a businessman wanting to multiply his income and avoid debtors; decides to marry off his son (Chunky Pandey) to Manpreet Oberoi. At this point both Nitin Bankar and Ram Mishra who get ultimatums from their girlfriends, come up with an audacious plan to kidnap someone and demand a ransom. The kidnapping goes well, and both hide out at a local hotel while waiting for the ransom money. But misfortune is never far, and things spiral out of control. The film also has Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal performing the iconic ‘Hera Pheri’ swinging dance. The film also stars other Bollywood veteran comedians including Aditi Govitrikar, Asrani, Johnny Lever, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Supriya Karnik, Tinu Anand, Vikram Gokhale,  Sharat Saxena,  and Himani Shivpuri.
