If reports are to be believed Rakesh Roshan’s most ambitious film till date ‘Kites’ that stars Hrithik Roshan and Mexican beauty Barbara Mori in lead roles as well as Kangana Ranaut and Luce Rains. A source said “Hrithik’s debut Bollywood movie ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ was released on January 14, 2000, it catapulted him to superstardom. Now Rakesh Roshan is contemplating releasing ‘Kites’ exactly a decade after ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ celebrating the actor’s 10 years of superstardom. The high budget movie which announces Hrithik’s foray into international market will be released on January 15, 2010 instead of December 18, 2009 as previously decided. As always Rajesh Roshan has scored the music for the film released under Filmkraft banner.

It may also be known that Hrithik Roshan after the release of super-successful ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’ has delivered 2 more super-successful movies ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Krishh’, all 3 among the Top 5 all time grosser in Bollywood. When asked Rakesh Roshan said “I will take a decision by September 10, on whether I’m coming in December this year or next January.” Meanwhile Hrithik Roshan has got busy shooting for ‘Guzarish’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali opposite Aishwariya Rai.
‘Kites’ directed by Anurag Basu of ‘Dus’ fame is set in Las Vegas; is about an Indian boy’s (Hrithik) romantic affair with a Latin speaking girl and both do not understand each other’s language yet they communicate and fall madly in love. Hrithik Roshan plays a salsa teacher and Kangana Ranaut plays his dance student, who falls in love with him.
